When an unfinished list is not a failure

Let the record stay a record

You can let the map keep its shape without turning it into a report card. A few simple moves help:

• Treat saved pins as options you can use, ignore, or return to later.
• If a pin no longer fits your interests, keep or remove it by choice, not to clean up a score.
• Add a brief note about what you enjoyed instead, so the map reflects the trip you lived.
• Leave unused pins in place if they might serve a future visit or a friend asking for ideas.

None of this rewrites the past. It keeps the saved map honest about what it is good for: pointing to what could be, not measuring what must be.
